Volunteer

Volunteers play an instrumental role in the development and quality of leisure services for all individuals with special needs. SWSRA seeks to utilize volunteer’s talents and expertise to further meet the needs of special individuals in their communities. Volunteers are given opportunities in various recreational programs and special events.

Alsip Fraternal Order of Police (FOP) Lodge 31 held their second annual Windy Cindy Thunderbolts fundraiser for SWSRA on June 8, 2024. The event raised $1,600 and was donated to us.
